Jenna Bush Hager shares glimpses into her family-filled Easter celebrations.

The TODAY co-host shared a photo with her husband, Henry Hager, and their three children: Mila, 10, Poppy, 8, and Hal, 4.

“What a beautiful world! Sending love to all your peeps,” Jenna captioned the colorful photos.

Hal especially had a fun day, starting with his love for “Bluey.”

On her Instagram Story, Jenna posted an adorable photo of her youngest child in blue bunny pajamas with sunglasses that resembled Bluey, an animated puppy with blue heels and the namesake of a popular children’s TV show.

“Happiest bluish Easter,” Jenna captioned the photo.

She also shared some behind-the-scenes photos of their visit to church Sunday and Hal’s “church antics.”

In the photos, Hal is lying opposite the pew during the service.

She also shared a photo of an Easter Bunny with her story, captioning it, “A true friend.”

Jenna met Henry in 2004 when he worked for her father, former President George W. Bush. The couple tied the knot four years later at Jenna’s parents’ Prairie Chapel Ranch in Crawford, Texas.

The mother-of-three has said that Mila, Poppy and Hal are her and Henry’s biggest priorities. Speaking to People in 2019, Jenna said one of the highlights of maternity leave was taking her daughters to school every morning. But Jenna has learned to let go of the guilt of being a working mom.

“I try to focus on what I can do and what I do bring to the table, because I think if we beat ourselves up for everything we’re missing, we’ll be the happiest parent we can be,” she explained.

Margaret Laura ‘Mila’ Hager

Al Roker predicted that Jenna’s first child would be a girl – and he was right!

“I absolutely love her,” Jenna told her TODAY family, days after Mila was born. “I don’t even like the color pink that much, and there’s pink everywhere in my apartment. I like things to be really neat, and there’s bottles and stuff everywhere, and we’re as happy as can be.”

Mila arrived on April 13, 2013, three weeks before her due date, weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces.

Jenna TODAY often shares stories about Mila. In July 2023, she reflected on a thoughtful note Mila sent to her sister Poppy while Mila was at a sleepaway camp in Texas. Poppy is going to visit Mila next summer, and it will be the first time she is away from her mother and father.

‘She wrote Poppy this letter, which made Henry and I cry. (It) was like, ‘You’re going to get homesick. But the difference is: I have you. I’ve got you, I’m here for you… and you can come into my cabin.”

Mila is both sweet and open-hearted. Earlier this year, Jenna recalled being “embarrassed” by Mila for throwing away her art project.

According to Jenna, Mila reported it to Poppy, who also “doesn’t appreciate it”.

While visiting the set of Hoda & Jenna in 2022, Mila dropped what Jenna called “truth bombs.” It all started when Hoda told Mila that she likes it when Jenna “laughs so hard she can’t catch her breath.”

“Yes, one time she was laughing in our living room and peed her pants!” Mila replied. Then she turned to Jenna and said, “You changed your pajamas.”

Later, Mila revealed that Jenna “never wears underwear.”

“She’s not wearing it now!” Mila announced. “I saw her change!”

Jenna has described both Mila and Poppy as “drama kids.” In 2022, Mila played the role of Seymour in her school production of ‘Little Shop Of Horrors’.

Mila’s solos were “completely out of her comfort zone,” a proud Jenna declared TODAY.

“Unlike her mother, she really doesn’t like attention,” Jenna said. “She never said, ‘I’m the star.’ If anything, she downplayed it.”

Poppy Louise Hager

The name Poppy is a tribute to Jenna’s grandfather, the late George HW Bush.

“Welcome to the WORLD Poppy Louise Hager – named after my sweet Gamps who was called Poppy growing up. We are in love,” Jenna captioned an Instagram post announcing Poppy’s birth on August 13, 2015.

Jenna often speaks about the love Poppy has for Mila. In 2022, she posted a note on Instagram that read, “My superhero is Mila because she is kind and gentle. She gives me hugs. She gives me love.” Poppy drew a picture of herself and Mila on the sheet of paper.

The little girl also adores her grandfather, former President George W. Bush. In 2022, Jenna remembered how the former Commander-in-Chief spoke to Poppy’s first class.

“Poppy would just sit at the computer, so proud that her grandpa would zoom in,” Jenna told the New York Post. At the end of the question and answer session, Poppy took it upon herself to invite all of her classmates for a ride on Air Force Once.

“Then I had to explain to her that it doesn’t work that way,” Jenna said. “She’ll never get to ride Air Force One unless she becomes president.”

Henry Harold “Hal” Hager

Hal inherited his name from his father and his middle name from Jenna’s grandfather, Harold Welch – father of former first lady Laura Bush.

“We weren’t really sure about the name,” Jenna said when she called TODAY to share her happy news that her son was born on August 2, 2019. “Then his big sisters called him ‘Hal pal,’ and we thought, ‘This is just perfect.’”

Hal’s birth was a family affair. Jenna said her twin sister, Barbara Bush Coyne, came to the hospital with a box of donuts.

‘I don’t think you can eat immediately after a caesarean section, but I went for it. And then Mila and Poppy came to pick him out in the nursery, and they just love him. The girls are so happy that they have their own little brother.”

Hal, now four, is a social butterfly, just like his mother. In 2022, Jenna raved about how Hal felt completely at ease at a big Memorial Day barbecue.

“I sat down next to him to feed him, and he looked at me and said, ‘Are you having a good time, Mom?'” Jenna recalled TODAY. “And I said, ‘Yes, I’m having fun.’ And he says, ‘Me too! I just got in the hot tub. ”

Hal recently learned to swim, and although it makes Jenna nervous, she is proud of her son for being so brave. He even feels comfortable in the ocean!

“Letting your child do scary things under supervision is the hardest thing you can do as an adult,” says Hoda.

“I actually just closed my eyes and let him do it because I don’t want to be like a parent in the backseat,” Jenna replied.

As for another baby?

Jenna revealed to TODAY in August 2023 that she had babies on her brain. But how does her husband feel?

While chatting with her TODAY co-host Sheinelle Jones, Jenna confessed that she’s thinking about expanding her family.

“I’d like to have another one… but no,” Jenna said, noting that Henry “put his foot down.” However, later in the show, Jenna teased that Hal could be promoted to big brother, whether Henry likes it or not.

“Well, I feel like women usually have the advantage in that area,” she joked to Sheinelle at the time.
